Morecroft Engineers Ltd was formed in 1984 and specialises in Welded Fabrication including Storage Tanks, Pressure Vessels and Heat Exchangers in a variety of materials.

On 1st January 1992 the company moved to its modern purpose-built factory in Sudbury, Suffolk where the most up-to-date machinery is employed in every stage of manufacture.



Design: Tanks and Vessels to PD5500, BS2654, BS2594 and BS799.

Manufacturing: Heat Exchangers to PD5500 and T.E.M.A. Tanks, Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Food Quality Tanks, Ducting, Structural Steelwork, plus General Fabrications.

Materials: Fully experienced in manipulation and fabrication of Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Incoloy, Monel, Titanium, Aluminium and Copper.

Welder Qualifications: Approved weld procedures and welder qualifications to EN287/288

Procedure and Welder Approval tests by Zurich Certification Ltd.

The Company uses the services of Zurich Certification Ltd. Metallurgist, as Consultant Welding Engineer.

Q.A: The Company operates an integrated quality management system certified to ISO 9001.

Applications: The Company regularly carries out work for the following industries: Automobile, Petrochemical, Paint, Varnish, Printing, Pollution Control, Agro Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Food and Drink, Waste Treatment, and Aerospace.
