About Interpower
Interpower International is an original equipment manufacturer of diesel and gas powered generating sets, and rotary UPS systems.
Since being founded in 1984, we have manufactured and supplied thousands of sets, to numerous key installations around the world. We have a reputation for high specification equipment, designed and built to meet customers' exacting specifications.
Interpower is an ISO:9000 company, approved supplier to the oil and gas industry, the first approved supplier to the Hong Kong Housing Authority, and is also approved to supply a number of militaries including the British Army, and Royal Navy.
Our key strengths are knowledge and ability to design, manufacture, install and commission bespoke power projects around the world, from hospitals and airports to telecommunication projects and factory installations, Interpower has the ability to tailor products to meet the customer's requirements.
Marine & Offshore
Interpower marine & offshore equipment ranges from 20kVA through to over 4000kVA. Every set is built, tested, and inspected to the highest marine standards, including Lloyds, DNV, BV, ABS and all other major classification bodies.
Using the latest generation of marine class approved engine controllers, Interpower have the capability to supply multiple set synchronising systems, for integration into vessel management systems.
Industrial
Interpower offer a range of industrial generators, both open and acoustically treated, for use in all types of applications, including factories, hospitals, airports, government buildings, data centers, and banks.
Our soundproofed sets are available with noise levels as low as 65dBA @ 1m.
Containerised
Developed for installations where time, space and budget do not allow for a purpose built engine room, Interpower containerised generators are designed to be used in some of the harshest environments on the planet, from deck mounted units on Naval vessels, to remote monitoring stations in the Falkland Islands.
Rotary UPS
Interpower's Uninterrupted Power Supply solution has been designed with the future cost of operation and maintenance in mind. Rather than using complex electromechanical flywheels, and expensive power electronics, which can only be serviced by specialist engineers, our system can be operated and maintained by the customer. With considerable savings over the life of the installation.

Specialist
- Oil & Gas
Interpower manufacture specialist sets for the onshore and offshore oil and gas industry, complying with all applicable international standards, and specifications. Oil and gas projects we have supplied include gas field work in Pakistan, the gas refinery in Qatar, and the oil fields in Azerbaijan. - Alternative Fuel
At the request of customers, we have developed generators that operate on a range of alternative fuels, including bio diesel, vegetable and animal fats. Complementing our range of natural gas, and heavy fuel oil sets. - Combined Heat & Power
When fuel is burnt, not all of the energy is converted into electricity. Interpower's CHP systems can recover this wasted energy from the cooling and exhaust systems for use in processes in factories, hotels and hospitals where high quality heat is used to preheat boilers, for heating systems or manufacturing.
