Duchy Timber products are made on site at our sawmill in Lostwithiel, Cornwall. With an expected service life of 15 years, they are built to last. Our furniture and fencing has up to three times as much wood as our competition. This makes them stronger and more robust.

At Duchy Timber we believe that local wood is good wood and minimise our carbon footprint by using locally grown Douglas fir, Cedar, Spruce and Larch. We process this wood at our state of the art manufacturing facility in Lostwithiel, Cornwall.

LOW LOG MILES
As well as being generally sourced from local responsibly and sustainably managed woodland, our timber is milled, kiln-dried, pressure treated, machined and manufactured on one site. That keeps our log miles to a minimum.

OUR PRODUCTS

Garden Furniture
Each item of Duchy Timber’s wooden garden furniture range is made on site by our expert carpenters from kiln-dried imported and home grown timber from sustainable sources. Each component is pressure treated using timber preservative, giving a long service life.

Garden Products
Add interest to your garden with our wooden garden planters. Like our garden furniture these are made from kiln-dried softwood.

Wooden Gates and Posts
Duchy Timber’s softwood gates are available in a range of designs for driveway, pedestrian and field. Each one is made at our sawmill at Lostwithiel in Cornwall.

Fence Panels
Made with three times more wood than many of our competitors. All this extra wood gives you a stronger and more robust product that will stand up to the ravages of weather and time. Each piece of wood is kiln dried before treatment to ensure maximum penetration when pressure treating with high performance preservative.

Wooden Fencing Materials
All our fencing products are built to last, milled in our production facility and manufactured to the highest environmental and quality standards.

Garden Decking
Whatever the size or shape of your outdoor space, a sustainable wooden deck can only help enhance it. Properly treated and maintained your decking will last for many years. Available in softwood, hardwood and anti slip, in a variety of sizes and profiles.

Cladding
Our home grown, sustainable cladding is made from West Country Larch, Douglas Fir and Cedar. This is kiln dried and can be supplied as FSC® certified.

Sheet Material
As one of the largest stockists in the South West of England of timber, we are able to supply a comprehensive range of sheet materials.

Timber
As suppliers of sawn and machined timber, we use great care when sourcing our stock. We select suppliers on their timber quality, delivery capabilities, environmental policies and professional competence. This ensures that our timber is responsibly managed from its origins in the forest until it is delivered to you on site or at home.

Mouldings
Our state of the art technology means we can cater for large volume production of wooden mouldings or small, one off requirements.
