Construction Products sells and distributes most types of crash barriers and associated car park furniture to customers all over the country.

Please note that we are a 'supply only' company. We do not offer an installation service.

Most orders are delivered direct to customers. However, they can also be collected, as long as the material is in stock in our main depot.

Off-Highway Applications
Protecting people, plant and property from all types of cars, lorries and fork lift trucks etc has always been practical common sense, but current Health & Safety requirements now make it essential.

We supply 'Armco' type barriers, as well as a number of other systems e.g. Open Box Beam, Spring Buffers etc.

A wide selection of bollards, speed ramps and other items are also available to complement this range of safety barriers.

Highway Applications
All the current 'Highway Agency approved' systems are also available. This includes the new 'Euro Code' compliant systems.

Armco Type Crash Barriers Off-Highway Use

• By far the most commonly used system for this type of application.


• Manufactured from galvanised steel, it is cost-effective, versatile, durable and can be made strong enough (by using extra posts) to cope with most impacts.


• It is the established industry standard, and has been for more than fifty years.


• It can be supplied as a surface mounted or cast-in system.

Alternative Types of Crash Barriers for Off-Highway Use
Occasionally, other types of barrier can be more suitable in certain circumstances.

• Open Box Beam: Often thought to be more aesthetically pleasing than Armco type barrier. It is sometimes used where visual appearance is important. It can also be supplied as a surface mounted or cast-in system.


• Barriers on ‘Spring Steel’ Supports. These are sometimes used in situations where it is likely to be nudged on a regular basis.

UK Highways Agency Approved Vehicle Restraint Systems (Crash Barriers) for Highway Use
The UK ‘Highways Agency’ has specified that all new safety fence systems should be EN 1317 compliant and only installed, maintained and repaired by suitably qualified personnel. We are pleased to be able to offer compliant systems on a ‘supply only’ basis. To ensure that existing ‘old style’ highway barriers can be maintained and repaired, we supply all of the component parts that are still available for such systems. e.g:

Location
Construction Products is based close to the M4 motorway in South East Wales. Orders and enquiries are processed at our office in Cardiff (Visitors by appointment only please).
Deliveries and collections are usually arranged from our Newport depot - although occasionally from associate depots elsewhere in the UK.
