Central Tool Hire Ltd was founded in July 1984 by Ken White, Director with Nigel Heavens joining as Co-Director in 1988.

We are a well established independent Plant and Tool Hire company based in St Albans, covering London and the Home Counties. We provide a substantial, up to date fleet of plant and equipment for our customer base, all of which complies with necessary regulations and legislation currently required. We are also very aware of customer and employee Health and Safety requirements.

We offer Plant & Tool Hire service to a diverse customer base, from the DIY enthusiast to large construction companies. As members of the Hire Association Europe and warranty approved main agents for Hitachi Power Tools UK Ltd, our standards of quality and service are maintained to a high level.

Our fleet of delivery trucks and field support vehicles are all maintained to a high standard. Regular contact is kept with our drivers and field engineers throughout the day, all of whom are knowledgeable and experienced members of staff.
