Risk Assessments
Fire Safety Training Consultancy
Are your Staff properly trained to deal with fire?
Will they know what to do when an emergency arises?
Who will know what to do?
Who will train them effectively in fire safety?
Your Responsibilities
The Fire Precautions (Workplace) Regulations are now in full force. The Government also plans to implement a new Fire Safety Regime during 2006.
The requirements include...
Employer's responsibilities
Every employer must now undertake a fire risk assessment if five or more people are employed in the workplace.
The risk assessment must be recorded and regularly reviewed to ensure that it remains up to date. Any significant findings must have been implemented in the premises.
Your statutory obligations
I will assist you in conducting a statutory fire risk assessment, measuring the consequences and likelihood of its occurrence.
Failure to comply with the Act is an offence!
Under the new Fire Safety Order, the Fire Authority will no longer issue fire certificates for premises. The responsibility for fire protection will lie firmly with a nominated responsible person. The person will be responsible for carrying out a fire risk assessment to ensure the changes identified are carried out.
