About Cavendish Hardware
After running a successful metal window servicing company, Cavendish was born out of the need for quick access to parts for repairs and renovations encountered around schools, hospitals, local authority housing etc.
Director Paul Gamble started Cavendish Hardware with his vast knowledge of commercial window fittings and was shortly joined by wife Carole whose background is in banking, accounting and finance; they proved a very successful team and Cavendish has grown from a stockist for local requirements into a national (and increasingly international) supplier for thousands of customers. We are still a family run company and have since been joined by daughter Catherine to help run things, backed up by our reliable team in the office and warehouse.
As Cavendish has grown, so too has our expertise in many areas and although we initially sold a few cord balances and steel window fittings we now carry a comprehensive stock of fittings for all types of frame, in particular aluminium and steel windows. Over the last few years we have become stockist or distributor for all the spiral balance companies and can cater for all vertical sliding applications.
We also cover Scotland and Ireland

Whilst there are still many established and long running products on the market, as trends have changed over the years some items have been withdrawn or become unavailable; with our machining and moulding facilities we can now re-manufacture long sought after parts. Alternatively some instances can be resolved with alternative fittings but either way Cavendish can provide the solution you seek.
