The standard of work and attention to detail when they installed some new doors for us was outstanding and of superb quality

Sam and his team from Patchitt Joinery fitted a number of bespoke wardrobes to my property in London. I cannot speak more highly of the quality of their workmanship - they are simply stunning and the team were super punctual, reliable and respectful of our property.

We were so impressed that we have just placed a larger order for wooden sash windows as well as internal and external doors.

The positives are workmanship on door is excellent. Workmanship on fitting the door was okay. However this business has lots of negatives, with Mr J Patchitt not taking order down probably in the beginning because he doesn’t listen to customers requirements, i.e the colour of door, and that we would be supplying our own door furniture, then not taking responsibility for his mistakes and blaming us as his customer which we were told by his fitter who happened to be his son. In addition the leaded light on the windows had faults Mr Patchitt came out to look at but instead of taking responsibility we heard excuses that is should be like to we can stick a bit on the outside he said you wouldn’t notice, then he blamed the person who does the leaded lights, then he told us he couldn’t go back to them because he fell out with them because he understermated the price for the job which was our problem. All we wanted from this business was a door we paid for which we didn’t get. However as we want our door and this business gone we ended up agreeing to split costs on getting sorted we should have gone down other routes rather than our pockets. For these reasons I would certainly not recommend this company. As for Mr Patchitt he needs to learn skills to deal with customers he needs to get training on being person centred to his customers.
