Dodd Engineering was established in 1987 in Chorley, Lancashire.
The Company has gained an enviable reputation for the design, manufacture and installation of a wide variety of materials handling systems, steel fabrication, structural steelwork, industrial manipulators and automated handling systems.

Dodd Engineering specialises in the supply of conveyor systems and industrial weightless handling manipulators to suit the needs of the client, utilising in-house draughting, computer aided design and project management facilities.

Manufacturing meets the high standards of quality and reliability based on the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001.

Our clients include Rio Tinto, Jaguar Land Rover, Bentley Cars, Pirelli, Hotpoint, Vauxhall Motors, Cheale Meats, Bosal, Leyland Trucks and Norwest Holst and more.

Export orders have been undertaken in Belgium, France, Germany and Norway.

	Structured Steel Manufacture Dodd Engineering carry out all types of steel repairs, manufacture new components to fit existing and new structures and installation projects.
	Installation and Relocation Dodd Engineering specialise in the installation of conveyors and materials handling systems. We provide full installation of all our own systems. We also install third party manufacturer systems such as MovoMech
Service and Maintenance Dodd Engineering provide service and maintenance for conveyors, material handling systems and special purpose machines. As well as providing maintenance for our own equipment we are able to service a wide range of third party manufacturer equipment as well as bespoke systems.
