About Kytun (UK) Ltd

The Kytun range of Dry Verge Systems has evolved over 30 years to provide a cost effective solution to the problems of wind uplift and weather damage to a slate or tile roof verge.

Developed in a region which experiences some of the harshest weather conditions in Europe, Dry Verge System products have become the roofer’s first choice when requiring total customer satisfaction.

Our website outlines the complete range of Dry Verge, Dry Valley, Dry Ridge, Aluminium Soakers & Aluminium Flashings which not only weather protect a roof from the elements but also save the roofer time and money.

We specialise in the Continuous Dry Verge System, and have become the UK's no.1 manufacturer through innovation, quality and customer service. The patented designs in uPVC, or the more versatile aluminium, provide more than just a finishing touch to the roofline – they add value.

What is Dry Roofing or Dry Fixing?
Over the years systems have been developed to do away with the need for Mortar (Cement) on Roofs. This is refered to as Dry Roofing or Dry Fixing. The areas on a roof that are usually fixed with using mortar are the verges (gables), ridges, hips and valleys. The most common dry fix products are manufactured using either aluminum. PVC, steel, screws or clamps.

Slate Dry Verge System
Our range of slate dry verge systems have evolved over the past 30 years, providing the customer with the highest quality 'tried and tested' product on the market. Our parent company NWA pioneered and invented the slate dry verge system whIch has helped protect thousands of roofs across Ireland and the UK from the elements, especially high wind damage which causes slates to blow off gable ends. The continuous slate dry verge trim permanently secures slates on roof verge edges whilst also making the roofers job much easier when installing as they have a nice straight neat edge to work the slates into.

Tile Dry Verge System
Kytun's tile dry verge systems have provided our customers with the highest quality 'tried and tested' product on the market for the past 30 years. NWA, our parent company, pioneered and invented the dry verge system whIch has been the market leader in protecting thousands of roofs across the UK and Ireland from the extreme weather elements, especially high wind damage which causes wind uplift and the tiles to blow off gable ends. Our tile dry verge systems also counteracts against water penetration. The continuous tile dry verge trim secures tiles on roof verge edges permanently and in doing so makes the roofers job significantly less labour intensive when installing and offers their customers a roof with an increased lifespan.
