PAT Testing is an essential aspect of every companies health & safety policy to ensure that staff aren’t harmed by any electrical equipment within a business premises.
Our teams of qualified engineers will visit your place of work and test all the portable appliances for safety. Once tested they will record the results and label each appliance with a uniquely numbered NIC EIC approved asset label. On completion you will receive a fully broken down asset register and certificate for your records.
Emergency Lighting Testing
All commercial and industrial buildings must be fitted with an Emergency Lighting System to ensure safe evacuation in the case of an emergency.
It is vital that these systems are properly maintained; not only because it is a statutory requirement and most insurance companies require it, but because the safety of you and staff may depend on it!
We can arrange regular inspection, testing and certification of emergency lighting systems every 6 or 12 months to ensure your premises fully comply with BS5266-1. We'll also provide the required documentation and log book.
Fixed Electrical Inspections
Fixed Electrical Wiring deteriorates with time, meaning that you need to regularly test your entire electrical distribution system to ensure it’s full safety and compliance, not only to stay within current regulations, but to keep your staff and visitors safe. The Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 state that any electrical equipment that has the potential to cause injury or harm must be maintained and kept in a safe condition.
You will receive an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) with your test, and we can also offer a free remedial quote for anything that we feel needs fixing as per the inspection report. Once all the remedial works are complete, we will provide you with an EICR Certificate which is valid for between 1-5 years (dependent on your business type).
