About WBJ Electrical
Our mission is to provide high quality specialised building maintenance services in a prompt, professional and cost effective manner.
Our Principal Engineer, Wyn Britten-Jones, is an Incorporated Engineer (IEng) and a Member of The Institution of Engineering and Technology (formerly the IEE and IIE), with over 40 years experience in the electrical and electronics industry and building services field, including some 17 years with the British Broadcasting Corporation.
WBJ Electrical is registered with NAPIT for all aspects of Electrical and Ventilation work, including Part P of the Building Regulations, and also has TrustMark approval.
We have a policy of Continual Professional Development with a rolling training program to maintain our knowledge of British Standards, Building Regulations and other relevant statutes along with the latest techniques for installation, maintenance and testing.
Inspection & Testing
We offer statutory electrical inspection and testing for compliance with Part P of the Building Regulations 2000, the Housing Act 2004, the Local Government Licensing Act 2003, the Electricity At Work Regulations 1989, the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998. We have extensive experience of carrying out such work in domestic dwellings, farms, apartments, sheltered housing, residential homes, shops, supermarkets, leisure centres, swimming pools, primary schools, secondary schools, further education colleges, universities, small business units and offices, large office blocks, factories and warehouses with electrical supplies ranging from 60A single phase to 1500A three phase.
Design & Installation
We offer a complete design, installation and commissioning service, including additions, upgrades and refurbishments. We have extensive experience of carrying out such work in domestic dwellings, farms, apartments, sheltered housing, residential homes, shops, supermarkets, leisure centres, swimming pools, primary schools, secondary schools, further education colleges, universities, small business units and offices, large office blocks, factories and warehouses.
Maintenance
We offer both a planned maintenance (inspect and report) and a reactive maintenance (fault-finding and repair) service for your building services, utilising sophisticated thermal imaging and electrical test equipment. We have extensive experience of carrying out such work in domestic dwellings, farms, apartments, sheltered housing, residential homes, shops, supermarkets, leisure centres, swimming pools, primary schools, secondary schools, further education colleges, universities, small business units and offices, large office blocks, factories and warehouses.
