Martin (UK) Roofing Systems Ltd is a family-run business offering a range of roofing services. We were established in 1990 and from our base in Staines-upon-Thames, offer our services to the domestic, commercial and industrial sectors in London and the Home Counties, as well as right down to the south coast.

We have over 40 years’ experience in the roofing industry and engage a workforce today that is fully qualified, verified and certificated. Through contracts, subcontracts and one-off jobs, our workers can provide roofing services for a range of buildings, including:

Complete Roof Formation
With our complete roof formation service, we can install not only the roof coverings, but also the roof structure.
For the covering, you can pick from materials including slate, lead and copper, while we can fit the likes of timber joists, plywood deck and insulation for the roof structure.

Single Ply Membrane
In recent years, single ply roofing has grown in popularity as a flat roof covering. A single ply membrane roof comprises flexible sheets of synthetic polymer that can be categorised as either thermoplastics or synthetic rubber.

Installing a single ply membrane is a modern way of covering a flat roof area or gutter.

Prefabrication
At our Heathrow depot, we have full workshop facilities enabling us to fabricate a range of components for your domestic, commercial or industrial roofing system.

Metal Roofing
From ornamental lead and copper to traditional batten roll zinc roofing. We have the skills and expert craftsmen to undertake all types of metal roofing.

Built Up & Felt Asphalt
Built-up bituminous membrane, often referred to as ‘felt’, is a type of roofing covering – and, for domestic flat roofs, perhaps the most common and economical. Built-up bituminous membranes can be applied to timber, metal and concrete decks.

High-performance felts are available in rolls that we can apply in two layers, with hot bitumen bonding them together. The multiple layers can help to prevent the membrane failing – as, if one layer picks up damage, the next layer will typically cover it.

With the ‘pour and roll’ method, we will pour hot bitumen in front of the felt roll before unrolling the latter into the bitumen, resulting in the whole width of the roll becoming continuously coated.

Slating & Tiling
From our base in Surrey and the general area of Heathrow Airport, we can travel to provide all types of slating and tiling as our clients require.
