About MV Lifts

Morris Vermaport Group have been involved in the design, supply, installation, commissioning and testing of new lift equipment for the UK construction market since 1979. In this, we have established a business that provides new lifts from reputable suppliers to large-scale key accounts from the hotel and construction industries, to working directly with major facilities-management companies throughout the UK.

The Group currently comprises Morris Vermaport Lifts, Scarborough Lifts Limited and Vermaport Limited, our international shopping cart conveyor business. We currently employ 100 people worldwide.

New Lift Installations
Morris Vermaport can offer a wide variety of lift choices to suit all needs, buildings and designs. We have our own in-house design team to offer a bespoke design that will ensure your new lift meets your requirements.
Morris Vermaport are the sole distributor and installer for the energy-efficient and battery-backup lift The Ecocell®, which not only is class leading in its ability to offer a battery-backup solution in the event of power outage, but also offers the ability to be a self-evacuation lift in emergency situations. The Ecocell® is the preferred choice of many schools and universities across the UK.
The passenger lift installations we offer are:

The Ecocell® – self-evacuation and battery-backup traction lift
Traction Lifts – Traction Lifts use considerably less power than hydraulic systems with comparable statistics, yet can still achieve high speeds and deal efficiently with a wide range of lift capacities
Scenic Lifts – very often the passenger lift in a building is required to combine its vertical transport role with that of being a feature of the building
Hydraulic Passenger – these provide our customers with a quality product that fully complies with the British Standard BS EN 81-2:1998, at an affordable price. Carry capacity from 480kg-2,000kg with speeds up to 0.63m/s.

Morris Vermaport also offer a substantial range of goods and access lifts to suit all needs and uses, and we offer the same design and planning solutions as we offer on our passenger lifts.

It can be used in parallel and adjacent to an escalator or stairs without the need of supervision or direction from store personnel.
