Our customer base is wide and varied, supplying to automotive, bus/coach/train industries, just to mention a few. Over the part 10 years Dealercast have been manufacturing grab poles along with the cast and fabricated fittings for the coach, bus, train and architectural industries.

In January 2009 we moved both our head office and tube bending/fabrication business into a new purpose built factory at the same time investing in new plant and equipment for our tube bending facility.

Tube Manipulation & Fabrication
Our Tube Bending and fabrication shop is well equipped and flexible supplying to a great many industries such as – Automotive, Bus & Coach, Architectural and is also supported by ISO 9001 – 2000, which was achieved in October 2006. Parts bent from ½” to 3” (most shapes) 1 off prototypes to large batch runs:

Foundry
We operate a modern green sand moulding plant from 2-BMM Weston moulding machines capable of accepting boxes 13” x 13”, 14” x 14”, 18” x 14” and 22” x 22” producing up to 150 boxes per day.

Our core making facility consists of 3 shell machines, 2 for our small to medium work and 1 automatic for larger cores. Cores for loose pattern work are produced in Co2.

Melting is achieved by the use of two 125 Kilo Watt D.P.O furnaces with a melting capacity per pot of 80kg, which allows rapid turn around of product and gives flexibility of batch production, with quantities from 1 to over 1000 being available to the customer.

Our own in-house pattern shop complements the whole foundry facility and enables us to give the customer quick turn around on both loose pattern and production work. We are also able to supply volume castings in all materials and methods of manufacture, including High Pressure and Gravity Die from our overseas foundries.

Machining
Our Machine Shop it capable of machining parts of all shapes and sizes, accompanied with a work force with vast experienced and knowledge we are able to meet all our customer’s needs.

• Doosan S700 large capacity lathe - swing 910MM Ø, over saddle 700 Ø, length 1.9 meters between centers
• Doosan S400 CNC lathe - swing 610 Ø, swing 610 Ø, over saddle 400 Ø , length 900MM between centers
• Hitachi HT20 CNC lathe – 250 Ø X 300 long between centers
• Nakamura TMC20 CNC bar lathe – 41.6 Ø bar capacity – 8” chuck to give 250 Ø turn capacity X 400MM long
• Ikegai FX25N CNC chucking lath – 400MM turning DIA X 400 long
• Partner vertical machining center VM24 - X 600MM, Y 600MM, Z 600MM
• Gladiator vertical machining - X 1300MM, Y 700MM, Z 600MM. This machine has 4TH axis capacity with 310 Ø face plate
