We have over 40 years experience and over 90 years combined experience in this field, working on projects as diverse as bridge repairs and the replacement of public drainage systems as well as a wide spectrum of other works.

We supply a full general contractor and facilities management service to a wide range of clients. This can be from local authorities, public sector organisations, housing trusts, conservations trusts and blue chip companies.

Other projects we undertake include interior and exterior refurbishment, leisure landscaping, footpath and curb construction, work and maintenance on public buildings, repair and replacement of drains and other public works, demolition work, groundworks, car parks and the supply of all types of street furniture.

Refurbishment Work - Interior
Along with our vast experience in exterior refurbishments we have worked for many years refurbishing the interiors of many types of property to the highest specifications and with many happy customers. With most of the refurbishment projects we carry out there is normally an element of both exterior and interior work involved.

We are happy to work on internal fit outs, office, bathrooms, kitchens, loft conversions, public areas within private buildings and large buildings such as libraries, council offices, schools and leisure centres. Whether you are looking to refurbish a single building or need work carried out on a complete portfolio of commercial properties we are happy to offer advice and quotations.

Refurbishment Work - Exterior
We have over 40 years experience in all types of building refurbishment work and are happy to take on projects for all types of exterior refurbishment work.

We have worked on many projects throughout the years and can manage projects as diverse in size from the total refurbishment of a changing room block within football pitches through, refurbishment on large private houses and on to the renovation and refurbishment of office blocks, industrial units, schools, libraries and most other public and private buildings.

We can carry out most types of work with full scaffolding and adhering to the strictest health and safety guidelines including brickwork, window repair and replacement, roofing and concrete repairs. In these instances we will work with private home owners on the right project but find ourselves normally working on bigger projects for housing associations and trusts, local authorities, councils and large companies.

Public Areas, Parks Highways & Car Parks
At J H Contract Services we work extensively on all types of open and public spaces including many local parks, helping authorities achieve Green Flag status on numerous occasions. We also work closely with a number of conservation organisations.

Our work can be extremely varied from maintenance of play areas and public conveniences to cleaning fountains and other park furniture. We can also construct walled areas and erect fencing along with working on any buildings within the park and public areas.

We also carry out construction work including laying lawns and constructing footways and paths for the public to access areas along with supplying and installing seating etc where required. We also work on shared areas of housing estates, school playgrounds and playing fields and areas around hospitals etc. All our work can also be carried out within conservation and environmental constraints.

Public & Authority Works
The drainage systems in this country is getting older and at the same time being used more frequently which can lead to situations where they need to be repaired or replaced.

J H Contract Services have over 40 years experience in this field and are happy to work with local authorities on emergency repairs and maintenance of their public drainage. We can also work on a scheduled renovation and refurbishment of complete drainage systems and also replace drains where needed.

Along with local authorities we can also work with schools and local education authorities, housing trusts & associations and larger companies who have drainage issues.

Preventative Planned Maintenance
J H Contract Services Ltd have a long and extensive experience in the building and maintenance of car parking areas along with all types of highways work from bridge repairs to the construction of footpaths and pedestrian areas.

We carry out all types of groundworks and have full traffic management equipment should this be needed.

We have built car parks from start to finish; this has involved everything from levelling to putting up walls, gates, fencing, lighting, line painting and automated barriers. We also refurbish or rebuild older existing car parks.
