Regarding Review from James Snook
James Snook is a CIOB Project Manager and has managed the project himself.
He has employed the Architect, Engineer, Landscape Architect, General Builder (ourselves), Electrical Contractor, Heating and Plumbing Contractor, UPVC Window Installer , Aluminium Window Installer, Tiler, Decorator and Kitchen Fitter, with no or little programming.
Windows were months late arriving and were replaced some months later. Aluminium windows were installed late and not yet finished.
Mr Snook has refused to meet since April and had not paid his account since April.
He has over spent his budget and now demands work not included in the contract and is withholding payment.
Fortunately the FMB has a mediation clause which appears to be the next step.

Use at you own risk. Horrendous delays due to my extension being constructed with minimal labour ( majority of time 2 people), despite this contracted to take 5 Months. Very poor quality finish, 7 month delayes and still not finished(wont come back to site to finish work), director very difficult to work with. Project not managed at all, sub contractors left to self manage. Roof constructed incorrrectly, defective plasterwork and render work. A challenge to get the Director to put right work, took me 2 months, still it is not good. Tried to charge me extra to cover his costs. Left my house and garden in a mess. Has not completed all works. Tries to charge for work not undertaken and then adds additional costs on/makes up additional things hoping the layman wont understand or notice. you have been warned, far from Premier.
