Western Asphalt Construction are a family business offering a comprehensive range of waterproofing services including Mastic asphalt, Single ply, Hotmelt , Built up felt, Liquid Applied Systems, EPDM, Traditional Roofing, Green Roofing, Cavity Drain Systems and a Planned maintenance package.
With over 20 years of experience within the waterproofing industry our professional team are fully trained and experienced in all aspects of waterproofing.
All works carried out are fully in compliance with BS.8102:2009 and we adhere to the code of practice for protection of below ground structures against water from the ground.

The most durable and traditional waterproofing solution. Mastic Asphalt is the traditional choice of specifiers as a waterproofing medium because it has a long and successful history in many different situations and applications.
Single Ply
The modern lightweight waterproofing solution, with quick clean installation
For over twenty years Single Ply Membranes, that is roofing systems which essentially consist of one layer of roof waterproofing membrane, have been successfully used in the UK.
Hot Melt
The modern, cost effective waterproofing for protected roofs, green roofs, podiums and water features.
Hot Melt has been used on numerous new build developments in recent years as a waterproofing membrane of the structure, taking advantage of its speed and ease of application.

We have fully bonded torch-on systems for concrete decks, a partially bonded system for warm roofs and a durable overlay system to give your old roof a new lease of life, complete with a 10-year guarantee.
Liquid Applied Systems
Generally these systems are a range of cold applied liquid waterproofing coatings. The waterproof coatings prevent the passage of water and water vapour into the structure, and form a seamless fully bonded system.
Cavity Drain
Cavity drain membranes works by allowing water to continue to penetrate the structure but control it in the air gap and divert it to a suitable drainage point or pump (if required). Cavity membranes do not allow pressure to build up against the internal construction, and the air gap behind the membrane allows the structure to ‘breathe’ and dry out. The membranes are impermeable to water, and gas and water vapour, thus protecting the basement internal space from dampness.
Green Roofing
As experienced installers of green roof systems we have expert knowledge in specifying to correct product for any project, installing as approved contractors and maintaining green roofs to the highest standards.
We can offer annual, bi-annual or one off packages which will include spot weeding, fertilising, re-planting, clearing of vegetation barriers, outlet and gutter clearing and more.

Western Asphalt are able to carry out a vast array of pitched roofing jobs, using both slating and tiling techniques for both domestic and commercial properties. As approved pitched roofing contractors we are able to offer our customers a large range of products including: bituminous products, underslating membranes and roofing shingles to name but some.
