All of the courses above are run as open courses which can be booked online which is really simple – no more ringing round saving you time and money!


As well as the above ‘open’ courses we can also specialise in listening to your requirements & assisting you with bespoke courses & training plans. We can even train using your company documents & policies. Such ‘private courses’ can either be held at our training centre, or at yours anywhere in the UK.

We are meticulous in making sure that your delegates attend the right courses for their needs by supplying you with advice about training you require. The person responsible for this is me (Rowena Hicks). I have worked in this trade since I started as a nipper when I worked for a hire company. I left there to start up a broker company & after feeling unsatisfied as a just a broker, I founded The Training Societi in 2011. Having done this job for a number of years, I understand how critical it is to ask the questions necessary to make sure your delegates are getting the right tickets so you don’t waste your time or money. We are realists, we know that some delegates would rather stay in bed then attend another ‘boring’ health & safety training course. Therefore we make every effort to make sure their experience with us is an enjoyable one & that they take home the message that health & safety is there so they can go back to their loved ones each night. How do we do this?


We only use trainers with the relevant site & muddy boots experience (rather than graduates or theorists). This means that from the start, your delegates will be able to relate to their tutor & the stories that they all have about working on sites. Our Technical Director Alan Bigwood spent 30+ years as the Health & Safety Director for a national construction company.   With all that experience under his belt (with the scars to prove it) he is able to teach delegates using his real life experience; he has walked the walk so he can talk the talk. 


We want your staff to enjoy the training & therefore take away the knowledge that will help them keep themselves & their colleagues safe, & make it easier for you to implement a sound Health & Safety culture in your workplace. Afterall, if the delegates don’t remember, or take seriously what they have be taught due to a dull course, accidents are more likely to happen.
