Astraseal Commercial

Astraseal is one of the UK’s largest and longest standing fabricators. Originally established as a retail fabricator in 1979, we changed our business model in 1983 to focus on supplying and installing a range of quality products for new-build residential and commercial projects in the construction sector.

Today Astraseal works with major contractors, housebuilders and architects, installing over 80,000 products a year for projects across London, the Midlands and South regions, as well as the rest of the UK. We can supply products for all sizes and types of project, and have an excellent track record for on-time project completion.

High-spec REHAU, Smarts and Reynaers windows and doors
We fabricate high specification PVCu windows and doors using REHAU’s Geneo system – a highly energy efficient profile with slim sightlines to rival aluminium – and the Total 70 system. We also manufacture Smarts and Reynaers aluminium windows and doors, curtain walling, Door-Stop composite doors, and 30 and 60 minute rated fire doors.

Our business operates from a 110,000 square foot factory in Wellinborough. We fabricate all products in-house, including sealed units in accordance with quality and health and safety guidelines. Significant investments in our production process means we have the capacity to manufacture over 4,000 frames per week, allowing us to process high volumes for large-scale commercial projects.

Products
Astraseal fabricates, supplies and installs a full range of high performance PVCu and aluminium products for projects within the new-build residential and commercial markets. We offer casement, sliding sash, tilt and turn and reversible window styles, as well as entrance doors, bi-folding doors, French doors and patio doors. We also fabricate composite doors and specialist aluminium products including curtain walling.

All of our products are manufactured in-house, giving us complete control over every stage of production to maintain high levels of quality. We also have an in-house spray colour facility, and can colour PVCu frames in over 150 RAL colours.

Services
Astraseal is a fully accredited fabricator, supplier and installer of high performance PVCu and aluminium windows and doors for commercial projects. We can work with you on a range of projects from new-build social housing/residential, to large scale commercial developments including offices, hotels, apartments and retail outlets.

Manufacture
Astraseal manufactures a full range of glazed products including PVCu and aluminium windows and doors, composite doors, fire doors and curtain walling. Everything is fabricated in-house at our 110,000 sq ft factory in Wellingborough. We’ve made significant machinery investments including a new Tamglas toughening plant, a Stuga machining centre, a five-headed welder, a bead saw, an aluminium saw and a crimper. This means we can produce a better quality of product, and it has increased our manufacturing capacity to 4,000 frames per week, allowing us to fabricate and install high volumes for large-scale building contracts.

Supply
We offer a complete range of systems suitable for the commercial market and can supply these for all kinds of projects in the residential, commercial, retail and leisure markets. We mainly operate around London and the Midlands/South regions, but we can work on a national basis if needed.

Products are delivered through our 80 strong fleet of vehicles, and we recently added an additional 12 ton and 18 ton lorry to further increase capacity. We meticulously plan journeys and use large vehicles for deliveries to reduce short trips and our carbon emissions. All of our drivers are employed directly by Astraseal and have undergone health and safety training.

Installation
Astraseal products are installed by our highly experienced installation team who have installed products in numerous high-profile projects across the UK. We install over 80,000 products each year and can work on both small and large scale contracts to complete your project ideals

Like our drivers, all of our installers are employed directly by Astraseal and have been through the appropriate training to install products to the high standard our customers expect, in accordance with the latest Building Regulations and health and safety requirements.
