Bourne Construction & Refurbishment

The worst kind of people I had to come across with. They are doing works x3 times longer than promised, 10 months instead of promised 3, claiming that “tuck” pointing technique is very unpredictable and depends a lot on weather. Perhaps this could be true but x3 times over eta, I am not buying! Now, my balcony is also a part of the exterior (top floor) and had to be worked on. These guys removed all my plants without any notice and left them on the scaffolding. The notice has been send only 2 weeks after. In the next 4 weeks there has been done absolutely 0 work. Also, they have sealed windows in one of my bedrooms for 3 month and i could not open them.
Now the best part comes when I emailed Mike Calcott MD of Bourne C&R. First, there was no response until i followed up again and again. He misled me by saying that under the contract Bourne C&R are not responsible for any work except the scaffolding. So, I had to chase my porter for details. But then it transpired that all the works is carried out by them!

So, avoid them at any cost because they are incompetent, badly trained, unthoughtful and not even willing to correct their own mistakes.
