Car parks
AJL Road Marking Ltd are Car Park Marking specialists, and we can advise on and install markings to help maximise parking availability with a carefully planned line-marking programme to organise traffic flow and parking positions.

We can refresh old road markings for a cost-effective face lift to existing parking areas. The parking area to your premises will often be your oppotunity to give a prospective client a good first impression of your business. Our crews will work outside of normal working hours to minimise inconvenience, and, if requested, create a safe environment for both staff and customers with line markings to create pedestrian walkways, zebra crossings, disabled or parent and child parking.

Our two estimators have nearly 40 years of road-marking experience between them and are happy to advise and help you make the most of the space you have. AJL Road marking can supply cost-effective line-marking solutions to suit any surface or environment with a choice of cold paints, hot applied thermoplastic or ultra-hard-wearing methyl methacrylate.

Factory Floors
Improve safety with clearly designated pedestrian walkways and storage areas, etc. High specification paints can be applied to give a tough, flexible and abrasion-resistant finish suitable for all types of traffic including forklifts.

Highways
AJL operate thermoplastic road-marking screed crews and airless paint road marking spray crews use BS-approved materials to apply white and yellow lines, arrows, symbols and miscellaneous marking to ashphalt and concrete surfaces.

AJL Road marking have depots in Rye East, Sussex, Croydon, South London and Chellaston, Derbyshire, which enables us to provide professional high-quality road-marking services to local-authority and private-sector clients anywhere in the Midlands, London and the South East.

Our crews are all holders of or working towards NVQ Level 2 in road marking, which allows AJL Road marking to handle any form of roadmarking contractsto the specifications set out in the Traffic Signs Manual Chapter 5.

Playground Marking
By effective use of playground marking, you can create a stimulating environment in which children can learn whilst having fun and exercise. Teach children basic road skills with a mock road playground marking.

Traffic Calming
Traffic Calming is the installation of physical measures, such as speed cushions or speed humps, to slow the speed and control the volume of traffic in order to improve safety. Used effectively in the UK for decades, it is the most effective way to reduce speeding and avoid traffic accidents and prevent fatalities. Traffic calming reduces accidents, collisions, noise, vibration, pollution, and crime.

Speed humps, speed limit signs, chicanes, or a combination of the three, along with roadmarkings are considered the most traditional traffic-calming solutions.
