Providing a safe solution for areas previously considered inaccessible for traditional methods
Height Tasks Ltd are a rope-access company with UAV (drone) capabilities for commercial operations, including night flight, authorised by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). We are based in Southampton, and proudly serve the south coast with an efficient and reliable inspection, repair and maintenance service across Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire, and even further, where requested.
Our reliable rope-access systems are a safe method of working at height.
We use ropes and associated equipment to gain access to and egress from the required workplace, while being supported by it.
The primary objective when using rope access methods is to plan, manage and carry out the work, ensuring a safe system of work is maintained at all times, and with no damage to property or harm to people and/or the environment.
The advantage of using rope access methods lies mainly in the safety and operational readiness with which our teams can get to or from difficult locations, and then carry out their work. Often having minimal impact on other operations within your business, the combination of the total work-hours and the level of risk for a particular task (worker-at-risk hours) is often reduced when compared with other means of access and their associated risks and cost.
Height Tasks Ltd operates Class 1 (20 kg or less) UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) for the purposes of aerial photography, aerial surveys, various forms of inspection and videography. The aircraft we use is a DJI MAVIC 2 Pro with the all-new Hasselblad L1D-20c camera.
Height Tasks Ltd are authorised to fly at night, giving our clients the flexibility to choose when tasks are conducted.
Height Tasks Ltd will at all times adhere to all the relevant rules and regulations in place, and all remote pilots will be qualified and certified by the CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) and any other relevant body, along with all the applicable permissions, as required, to allow legal and safe operation,such as our PfCO (Permission for Commercial Operations).
Inspection

Photo survey
By using a combination of digital photography equipment, including drones, digital cameras and endoscopes, we can compile an image report to help you diagnose any issues you maybe experiencing.
Building maintenance
Being able to access almost all areas of a building or structure, both externally and internally, allows our technicians to carry out an array of repairs. Using specialist fall-arrest equipment for climbing-tower structures and masts enable our technicians to work safely wherever you need our services.
Window cleaning
Being able to access almost all areas of a building, externally and internally, allows our technicians to carry out window cleaning without the need for heavy machinery and with minimum disruption.
Temporary safety systems
Need your experts to work where no permanent fall protection is fitted?
We can prove an alternative to permanent installation for those one-off specialist situations.
Graffiti removal
Vandals are finding more and more elaborate ways to make their mark.
