The Olympic Park Legacy Company, the company responsible for the long term planning, development and management of the Olympic Park, has announced its first three appointments to its Executive Management team.
Chief Executive Andrew Altman said: "I am delighted to announce these appointments. Each of these individuals is exceptional and first class. They bring tremendous experience and an impressive skill set which balances the best from across the private, public and voluntary sectors, both in the UK and internationally.
"With the first members of our top team now in place, this is an important milestone for the Company and will significantly boost our efforts to be a publicly minded and commercially focussed organisation."
Director of Finance and Corporate Services, Jonathan Dutton is a qualified chartered accountant with extensive experience in strategic and corporate financial management.
He was Chief Executive of Oasis UK – a world wide charity working in 10 countries in the fields of education, healthcare and housing and worked closely with the Department for Children, Schools and Families in setting up the Oasis Academies Programme. He is a former Managing Director with investment banks UBS and Deutsche Bank.
His appointment takes effect immediately.
Director of Marketing and Communications, Karen Webb has 22 years international experience in communications and brand, corporate and media marketing.
Karen will move to the OPLC from Visit London and the Greater London Authority where, as Project Director, she has led initial work on the Major Event Strategy for the Olympic Park.
She takes up her appointment on February 1.
Director of Operations and Venues, Malcolm Ross has over 30 years experience in strategic planning, opening and operating large scale developments in Europe, the United States and the United Arab Emirates working in the hotel, resorts, real estate, hospitality, entertainment and leisure sectors.
He will be responsible for the legacy uses of the permanent Olympic venues including the Stadium and Aquatics Centre as well as the operations and management of the Park site.
Malcolm takes up his appointment on January 25.
