Management Construction Ltd is a one man one wife business, established in 1988 to deliver mainly commercial projects by a collaborative management route in competition with both Traditional and Design and Build contracting.
Approaching retirement age we are now winding down. Large commercial projects are more suited to the team approach employing 21st century management software and our type writer's on the blink!! For this reason we have reserved a group of "Management Construction" companies which should be of interest to existing or aspiring Construction Managers/Project Managers/Quantity Surveyors, Facilities managers or even Architects; UK or overseas based.
Aptly named, Management Construction is readily recognised by our clients and their lead consultants as an alternative, collaborative, procurement route. The group is intended to be the basis from which to establish and secure a construction presence in the UK and/or the main geographical regions of the UK as appropriate.
Clearly ours is not an established Construction empire however, with the advent of such government backed bodies as Constructing Excellence” and the developing interest in collaborative procurement routes I would - thirty years younger - certainly be viewing the prospect for future expansion of the genre very positively indeed, particularly in the age of Google. Collaborative procurement routes are not just reserved for high rise towers to house investment bankers in the city. Management Construction has proven the route delivering successful projects for more modest, constructive, concerns for the last twenty two years.
We have specialised to some extent in the construction of new build and replacement meat and food plants but with a fair mix from small works to factories/depots extensions and up grades and a Land Rover dealership; all very interesting and rewarding. However I am advised the old type writer is definitely beyond repair and the Management Construction group will have to go!!
