Speedy, the leading provider of equipment rental and support services, has released its biggest ever catalogue today.
Featuring over 2,000 products, the 2010 Handbook includes over 200 new products including several which are under exclusive license to Speedy in the UK such as the VT1-Eco lighting tower, Hy-Brid scissor lift range and Site Saver power distribution units.
The new handbook covers the largest collection of products and services available in the market place and is designed to meet the needs of a broad range of industries such as the general construction, nuclear, utilities and rail sectors.
In an industry first, it also features a new colour coded labeling system that provides data on the energy efficiency and carbon output of selected products, which has been developed by independent environmental consultants ERM.
Speedy says this will help clients to make more informed decisions about the products they use in order to gain efficiency savings while also reducing their environmental impact.
The new handbook also includes over 200 training courses Speedy can provide to its customers, covering a range of areas such as working safely at height, site management and working in confined spaces.
As part of its continuing commitment to promoting health and safety, Speedy provides additional information on what specific training courses are available for individual products or what PPE Safety Packs are required to operate them.
Steve Corcoran, Chief Executive at Speedy, said: "The focus of our new handbook is to empower our customers with as much information about the wealth of products and services available.
"By providing detailed analysis of the energy efficiency of certain products, for example, we’re helping contractors to make choices that can save them money as well as reducing the environmental impact of their work."
