The A. Proctor Group of Blairgowrie Scotland, is showcasing several of their product ranges at the Built Environment Solutions & Technologies (BEST) Exhibition in Birmingham.
Running from 18th – 20th October 2010, the event will not only host the exhibition, but also live debates, free seminars and discussion forums.
The A. Proctor Group's Main Stand is No. 5-B100, displaying their Timber Cladding Ranges, all of which are pre-treated and offer comprehensive warranties against timber rot and decay of up to 50 years.
There will be a model layout to show a range of gas protection membranes and venting accessories. The A. Proctor Group have recently re-branded its’ geo-engineering products and can offer a safe, cost effective and value engineered solution to building on contaminated land.
As well as the Main Stand, The A. Proctor Group are also utilising 2 Hubs within the exhibition area – The Residential Hub and The Retrofit Hub.
The Residential Hub will show their new and improved Reflectashield product, with enhanced thermal performance, along with Roofshield, their market leading vapour and air permeable roofing underlay.
Also being exhibited are 3 versions of a unique self adhered membrane, designed as an alternative to Parge Coating, to create air-tightness internally. The products can be offered in a range of breathable/reflective breathable and reflective VCL dependent on requirement.
The Retrofit Hub includes a variety of solutions to the problems found in insulating solid wall constructions, either thermally or acoustically. The Prowall Batten has an integral leveling ability, which can be crucial when installing as a retrofit.
Spacetherm® and Retrophix® have been developed specifically for insulating hard to treat solid walls internally. Spacetherm® is a unique, ultra thin product which uses aerogel technology and can be directly fixed to solid walls to avoid encroaching on precious roomspace.
Retrophix® is an insulated drylining board comprising of Fermacell® bonded to a high performance Phenolic insulation board with a foil face. This creates a low emissivity cavity to enhance the overall thermal performance.
