We have been designing and creating natural stone patios and outside entertaining spaces in gardens since 2003. For the first few years we sought out and used what was on the shelf from Jewson Beaconsfield or build base in Gerrards Cross and many other local suppliers...but then so did all of other hard landscapers.
Our main premise at Exterior Stone was then to sought out different stone paving, natural or not, as long as it was different. Various sizes, textures, colours and base material have always been a factor in finding another product.

Whilst at the Surface Design Show this year (2011) I noticed an Italian company show casing their ceramic products.
These products can be used for the exterior as they are durable and frost proof. The selection of colours and finishing is wide and worth considering.
The can be installed over reinforced concrete that has been power floated to falls. By using exterior tile adhesive and waterproof tile grout or even a resin product, Gftk for example; these exterior paving products will last for years and look beautiful. The have a range of interesting finishes, patterns and textures.
Caesar ceramic products could be a way forward to provide a paving solution to be different, contemporary and unique.
