In 1959 Walter Battisti extended his passion for motorcycles to embrace another form of combustion when he founded his company, Radiant, to manufacture atmospheric burners.
Today, over 50 years later, and under the direction of his two sons, Radiant is still a dynamic and successful manufacturing business with a wide range of heating products worldwide
Radiant's focus on product innovation and quality has seen its business thrive in recent years and it is now launching its proven range of condensing gas wall and floor standing boilers in the UK through Extraheat Ltd.
Radiant's flagship range of A rated 'Ekoflux' pre-mix condensing boilers offers system and open-vent models as well as combination boilers for instantaneous and stored hot water production with outputs from 25 to 34kW. Efficiency and hot water performance are significantly improved on storage models which feature Radiant's unique 'Duopass' system.
In addition to an indirect coil within the store a supplementary plate heat exchanger is used to pre-heat the incoming mains water and utilise more of the generated heat. This means that the boiler continues to condense in hot water mode, improving efficiency
'Duopass' also ensures a faster response to hot water demands and continued high flow rates. 'Duopass' is available on storage models from 8 to 200 litres. The larger storage models are also ‘solar’ capable with the stainless steel store already fitted with a solar coil. The addition of Radiant's 'Ekosolar' kit provides integrated solar water heating with all controls contained within the appliance casing.
Heating only models are also available from 18 to 100kW outputs and can be cascaded to provide up to 800kW. A comprehensive range of controls, management systems and flue accessories are also offered.
The Directors of Extraheat Ltd, Paul Baxter and Melvin Hartley, have many years experience in the UK heating industry and aim to provide the high levels of customer satisfaction that Radiant customers worldwide have come to expect.
