Sister companies Rookery Barns and Southdown Shepherds Huts are to exhibit for the first time at the international Goodwood Revival motor race event in Sussex on 16thto 18th September.
The companies will be using the event to display examples of their high quality traditional buildings which meet the growing demand for ancillary contemporary living space: home offices, garden studios, garages with accommodation, pool house changing rooms.
As well as examples of Rookery Barns oak framing, Goodwood visitors will be able to see Southdown's two shepherds' huts ranges – the Classic and the Complete Southdowner. Described as 'The Clever way to Extend Your Home' these buildings are on wheels, do not generally require planning and are delivered, beautifully fitted, ready to use.
"We pride ourselves on the quality of our buildings and the Goodwood Revival offers a great opportunity to demonstrate that quality - we want people to see and feel it for themselves," said Robin Welland-Jones, Managing Director of Rookery Barns and Southdown Shepherds Huts.
Rookery Barns is a leading supplier of oak barn-style buildings in Surrey, Hampshire and West Sussex. The company's heritage dates back to the inception of The Goodwood Revival in 1998. The event is the world’s most popular historic motor race meeting, attracting 135,000 visitors every year.
