Sainsbury's Appoints Director Of Property Development

Sainsbury's has announced the appointment of Philip Bell-Brown as Director of Property Development.

Philip joins Sainsbury's from Dixons Retail where he was Group Property Director.

In his new role Philip will have responsibility for all site acquisitions, town planning and property communications. He will start at Sainsbury's on Monday 21st November and will report into Neil Sachdev, Sainsbury's Property Director.

Before joining Dixons Retail, Philip was Head of Property for Halfords where he was responsible for all property activity including opening the retailer's first stores in the Czech Republic. Prior to this Philip worked for Boots where he held a number of senior positions including most recently as Head of Acquisitions. In this role he had responsibility for all Boots property acquisitions and the development of the retailer's extensive property portfolio.

Neil Sachdev, Sainsbury's Property Director, said: "I am delighted that Philip has chosen to join us.
