Neweys Online the ecommerce channel from the UK leading electrical wholesaler Newey & Eyre announced plans to help their web based customers cut costs as the strain of last quarter budgets are felt come January.
From the 9th of January all orders placed online through NeweysOnline will incur no charges.
"We know that everyone is feeling the pinch so whether it’s your procurement budgets or customer driving down prices Neweys Online can help get a better bottom line with this Free Delivery promotion," said Emma Gilbert, Web team at Neweys Online.
In the run up to Christmas NeweysOnline added extended ranges to the popular Newlec brand which now included CFL downlights and dimmers.
Ending 2011 on a high Newey & Eyre raised the profile of the Electrical Contractors' Association (ECA) to increase the number of female electricians and are preparing for the release of the eagerly anticipated new 2012 Newlec catalogue due to be released in branches in February.
As the UK’s leading electrical wholesale Neweys Online is committed to offering their customer real value for money on quality products and so any measures to cut costs will be welcomed by resellers of electrical cables, wiring accessories and seasonal items such as heaters.
According to a KPMG/Synovate Retail Think Tank: "Retailers have been forced to offer steeper discounts far earlier than usual this year to tempt shoppers whose disposable income has been hit by rising food, fuel and utility bills, sending consumer confidence plunging to record lows in the UK so free delivery is one way Neweys Online can help it’s trade account customers offer bigger discounts to their end customers."
