Rockbond Ultraflow Grout Accelerated White

ROCKBOND ULTRAFLOW GROUT ACCELERATED WHITE is a specially designed white cementitious grout used for the filling and sealing of fine cracks, gaps and voids.

The grout powder is a blend of fine and ultra fine cements, stabilisers, admixtures, chloride free accelerators, and is free of sand. When the grout powder is mixed with water, a particularly fluid grout is produced, which will not segregate or bleed, and is easily pumped and placed. The grout is used during winter weather work, or when a rapid gain in strength is required at 20ºC. For applications that require a flexible material, mix the grout powder with the ROCKBOND FLEXIBLE LATEX (RB FL). The powder is packed in 25kg moisture proof, durable bags, is ready to use, and has a shelf life of 2 years. The latex is packaged in 2 litre, 5 litre and 25 litre containers and has a self life of 2 years.

SPECIAL PROPERTIES:

•Quickly and easily mixed, pumped and placed.

•Portland cement based, shrinkage compensated and microsilica enhanced.

•Excellent penetration through cracks, gaps and voids.

•Highly stable under pressure, and will not segregate or bleed.

•Contains expansive cements to ensure the hardened grout will “tighten-up” in gaps, joints, voids or ducts.

•High compressive strength, high bond strength to concrete and steel and wear resistant.

•Impermeable, waterproof, resistant to cleaning materials and chemical attack.

•Can be made flexible: simply mix the power with the ROCKBOND FLEXIBLE LATEX.

•High yielding, economical, non flammable, non toxic, odour free, user friendly and safe to use.

USES:

•To penetrate and fill floor joints between terrazzo and decorative tiles and stone sets.

•To fill floor joints between tiles and paving stones when time is short.

•For outside use during winter weather work, or when ambient temperatures are low.

•To grout up open graded aggregates to produce a void free, fully compacted, non shrink, high strength “in situ” white concrete, flooring materials and aggregate filled joints.

•For use as a flexible material to fill gaps and joints that move.

•For the repair and replacement of expansion joints in floors, paths, car parks and roads.

•Elastic requirements during cold weather or low temperature situations.

MIXING INSTRUCTIONS:

ROCKBOND ULTRAFLOW ACCELERATED GROUT WHITE powder is mixed with water using a ROCKBOND CONCRETE STIRRER (RB CS), a pneumatic or electric power tool (1kW) and a ROCKBOND 25 LITRE MIXING CONTAINER (RB 25LMC):

•Add 7.5 litres of water to the container or mixer.

•Pour 25kg of the powder onto the water while mixing.

•After all the powder has been added, mix for 30 seconds.

•The grout is now ready for use.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

Make sure the gap or joint to be filled is free of contamination. Mix small amounts of the grout powder with water at fluid consistency: equivalent to 7.5 litres of water per 25kg bag. The grout can be poured into floor joints using a jug and funnel, or injected into voids using a ROCKBOND GROUT INJECTION GUN 1 LITRE (RB GIG1000). In deep joints where the grout may settle and sink with time, apply the material to seal the lower part of the joint. When the grout has set, top up the joint with grout to the level of the surrounding concrete or tiles. For a flexible grout, mix the powder with the ROCKBOND FLEXIBLE LATEX (RB FL).
