The grants provide up to £500 for projects like allotments, nature conservation and environmental education projects and local recycling and energy-saving schemes.
Applications are invited from non-profit-making groups based in Derbyshire (excluding Derby City) such as natural history groups, schools, community groups or parish councils.

Cabinet Member for Highways and Transport, Councillor Simon Spencer, said: "Greenwatch Action Grants help communities take ownership of their environment. We've been able to help many groups with really worthwhile projects over the last 18 years. It's easy to apply and the grants give a real boost to the good work that these groups already do".
Interested groups and organisations should submit applications by 24 February. Applications will be considered and successful bids will receive their grants before the end of March.
