A new partnership between equipment and tool hire company Speedy Services and Trimble at Hillhead Quarry in Buxton means that the investment in the Spectra Precision and Nikon total stations range will provide exclusive access for clients looking for industrial solutions.
The company will offer clients unique access to a wide range of equipment used for surveying.
Spectra Precision is a division of Trimble and the company provides global positioning systems (GPS), optical total stations, data collection hardware and field and office software.
The new product range will include the Spectra Precision FOCUS 30 Robotic Total Station, which offers solutions to entry level issues and robotic surveying. The launch of the partnership officially took place at Hillhead Quarry in Buxton from June 19 to June 21 June, with Speedy’s technical support team offering demonstrations to delegates.
The new range of products includes the Spectra Precision FOCUS 30 Robotic Total Station, which is an ideal entry level solution to robotic surveying. It also includes the Nikon Nivo 5.C and the 5.M Total Stations.
Speedy will now have the rights to all sales of the FOCUS 30 Robotic Total Station anywhere in the UK.
A company spokesman said this would add to the range of surveying equipment and "consistent and future-proof" investment in new technology to make Speedy the company of choice for clients who want dynamic, innovative surveying solutions.
The Nikon accreditation that Speedy holds at its service centre, allowing it to repair, service, maintain and calibrate Nikon products, is the only one of its type in the UK.
