Hillingdon Council's planning enforcement team took court action against Hodson Developments Ltd, a Northwood based company, for failing to carry out necessary works at a development in High Elms Close, Northwood.
The company director, Thomas Hodson, pleaded not guilty at Uxbridge Magistrates' Court on Friday 14 September. However, he was found guilty by the bench for failing to comply with two breach of condition notices.

The developer was fined £2,000 and ordered to pay the council's costs of £4,500 plus a £15 victim surcharge. The magistrates urged the developer to cooperate with the council in order to ensure the roadway is built to a satisfactory standard.
Hodson Developments had been granted planning permission to build three detached houses at the end of High Elms Close on appeal by the Planning Inspectorate on the 27 October 2007.
As part of the planning permission the developers had to carry out widening works to the road which included landscaping, resurfacing works, installing lighting and creating a new speed hump at the beginning of the road. The developer had failed to carry out all works required in the two breach of condition notices issued by the council in March and April 2010.
