Mace To Hit £1bn In Turn Over

Mark Reynolds will become Chief Executive of Mace from 1 January 2013.

Stephen Pycroft will continue as Executive Chairman and Jason Millett and Mark Castle will be promoted to the Group Board, also from 1 January 2013.

This year Mace will hit £1 billion in turnover for the first time after the Olympics, The Shard and Emirates Air Line provided a hat-trick of London 2012 successes.

Mr Pycroft said: "This year we have continued to prove that Mace is the consultancy and construction company of choice across the industry. As a partner in CLM, we have helped deliver the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games on time and well within budget. We have completed The Shard, western Europe’s tallest building, with a multitude of 'firsts' for the construction industry and an award-winning safety record. We have also in just over 12 months, designed, built and now operate the Emirates Air Line, to give London the UK's first urban cable car.

"Also today I am delighted to announce Mark Reynolds' appointment as Chief Executive of Mace, effective from 1 January 2013. Mark has been with Mace since 1996, and been Deputy CEO for three years. He has been a close friend and colleague of mine for many years, is an outstanding leader and a passionate business man. Mace is very fortunate to have someone of his calibre leading the company.

"I will remain in the role of Executive Chairman, responsible for the leadership of the Group Board."
