A new affordable housing development in Wrexham, which is supported by £6.6m from the Welsh Government's Social Housing Grant Programme, will provide much needed affordable homes and is a boost for the economy of the town, Finance Minister Jane Hutt said.

The scheme at Kingsmills Road and Rivulet Road, will provide up to 147 affordable homes and is a result of partnership working between Wales and West Housing Association and Wrexham Council. It will also provide a fit for purpose community and medical resource centre to meet the needs of the wider community.
