A Great Sales Success For Victoria Plumb

While many companies are experiencing the effects of the economic downturn, Victoria Plumb, the UK’s leading online bathroom retailer, is proud to announce their best month of sales ever! January sales were almost £4m – their best result in over 10 years of trading, and continues their trend of strong double-digit growth over the last year.

Shopping comparison website, Kelkoo confirmed recently that general online sales have increased by 14% since this time last year. However, Victoria Plumb blew this statistic out of the water with a 101% revenue increase compared to January 2012.

While Kelkoo puts the general increase down to "the use of affordable 'always-on' internet connections, simple and secure payment systems and the increasing popularity of mobile devices, combined with the growth of mobile-based retail sites." Victoria Plumb believes they have achieved additional success through their investment in a national TV campaign, a new, larger brochure and a considerable ramping up of their online marketing.
