ISG has been awarded one of the largest London office fit out schemes this year, securing a £multi-million project with international insurance broker and employee benefits provider, Jardine Lloyd Thompson (JLT).
ISG will be returning to the landmark St Botolph Building in Shoreditch for JLT’s 280,000 sq. ft. fit out, following a previous BCO Award-winning scheme for a client across the first and second floors of the building.
The move to the St Botolph Building is part of a strategic review by JLT to consolidate four London offices and some 1,800 staff into one central location. The broker will take nine floors at the property, as well as the basement and roof space, with ISG delivering a high specification fast-track programme. The scheme will incorporate open plan office accommodation, client facing executive spaces, as well as a large dining area and catering facility. ISG will also create an impressive new reception space at ground floor level as part of the 34-week fit out project.
JLT is targeting a BREEAM Excellent environmental performance rating for its new offices and ISG will be carrying out a significant mechanical and electrical upgrade to achieve this key target. Every element of the project has been designed to maximise efficiencies and enhance the fit out’s sustainable credentials, with ISG undertaking the UK’s largest installation of highly efficient Zumbotel lighting systems and targeting a waste recycling figure of 90 per cent for the scheme.
