Marketing Suite By Hadley Mace Officially Opens

The £225m regeneration scheme from Hadley Mace has officially opened its marketing suite to showcase the stunning development created by the joint venture.

Supported by the Mayor of London and working in partnership with the Royal Borough of Greenwich, L&Q and NHS Greenwich, the former Greenwich District Hospital site will be transformed into one of the most desirable postcodes in London on its completion in 2015.

The landmark regeneration scheme will provide 645 modern new homes and deliver much needed communal facilities to existing and new residents and local employment opportunities. The layout of Greenwich Square has been designed to create a 'community hub' with a new large public square surrounded by café's and restaurants whilst providing entry to the new Greenwich Centre. The new homes will range from apartments and maisonettes with balconies, to family-focused terraced houses with landscaped gardens; all of which will be unveiled over a five-year period in several phases.

David Grover Chief Operating Officer, Mace Investments said: "This long-awaited investment into East Greenwich has finally been realised in a development that will demonstrate the benefits of public-private consortium and bring regeneration to a significant but under-utilised area of London. I am confident that this scheme will be seen as a blueprint for collaboration, recognising the positive impact it has in transforming undeveloped land into places where communities can grow."
