The five new homes – which have all been let to local people – were built by Lovell for the Pennaf Housing Group based in St Asaph. The completed homes are managed by Clwyd Alyn Housing Association, which is part of the Pennaf Group.

The awards judges said of the development: "These houses are outstanding, in a village location and being built of stone and an all-through white render, are visually stunning."
The Gwernaffield homes previously won the county award before going on to clinch the overall North Wales title at the LABC awards ceremony, held at the De Vere Village Chester St David’s hotel near Chester.
The Building Excellence Awards recognise construction projects which have achieved excellence through building standards, technical innovation and sustainable design.
Nigel Yates, regional director for Lovell, which is based locally in Queen’s Lane, Mold, said: "This award is a great tribute to the professionalism and expertise of our construction team and their commitment to building to the highest standards. I am absolutely delighted for them."
