Cskills Awards, the awarding organisation of the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB), is celebrating achieving a ‘World Class’ rating for the second year running in the UK’s Customer Satisfaction Index (UKCSI) – having outperformed automotive, finance and transport sectors for the quality, efficiency and professionalism of its service to customers.
The index, which is run by the Institute of Customer Service (ICS), benchmarks UK businesses and public sector industries based on feedback from 26,000 consumers. It rated Cskills Awards ‘World Class’, after it achieved 83.5 points in its latest Customer Satisfaction Survey of 181 UK organisations – beating the overall average of 78.2 points.
Adrian Beckingham, Head of Cskills Awards, said: “I am delighted that we have achieved this recognition – it demonstrates the commitment of the team to developing outstanding qualifications which not only meet the needs of the industry, but are also widely recognised and respected across the construction sector. We will continue to develop our service model and quality of qualifications, so that we can do even better in future years.”
The index, which also ranks well-known household names, including Amazon, Aviva, First Direct and John Lewis, saw CITB’s Cskills Awards outperform in 30 of the 34 customer priority measures, including:
• Helpfulness of staff: 9.1 (compared to 8.1 UKCSI average).
• Friendliness of staff: 9.4 (compared to 8.2 UKCSI average).
• Product range: 8.2 (compared to 7.9 UKCSI average).
• Speed of service: 8.9 (compared to 7.9 UKCSI average).
• Reputation of Cskills Awards: 8.3 (compared to 7.9 UKCSI average).
