Niko Ltd, the UK subsidiary of Helm Hellas SA, leading European manufactures of lifting equipment, overhead conveyors and sliding door track, has been refreshing their online appearance, with both new and improved editions of their already established site.
The first is a mobile friendly version of their original website, the aim of which was to improve the viewing experience for customers and businesses, especially when market research suggested that 60% of views to the site came from mobile devices. The site is simply done, with a selection of drop down menus and interactive image slideshows, all keeping with the original Niko colour scheme to ensure continuity. The site is also important because it is fully integrated and supported of mobile phones, thus anyone can phone or email the sales office direct from their phone via the new mobile website, which is aimed at saving time and improving the slick new feel of the site.
The second update is a new Web Shop, which the Niko team have been developing for a number of weeks before its publication today. The aim of the site is a simple one, customers will now be able to purchase Niko's products straight from the site, thus customers will be able to obtain a quotation for themselves, It also allows customers to take control of their own orders and to produce their own price listings.
We are still in the early stages of development and we aim to be adding new content to the site weekly, and we also aim to continually improve the site, to ensure it remains fresh and appealing.
