RDA Projects (RDA) and Mezzanine International are joining forces in a move that will see the specialist flooring supplier bolstering its offering to the construction industry.
For the past 18 years, RDA has been the only mezzanine provider specialising in servicing the professional construction industry, offering unrivalled technical expertise, financial backing and the project management standards demanded by builders and their clients.
Now, that specialist expertise is to be married with Mezzanine International's rich heritage in order to be able to provide more expansive services to a growing market. Uniquely allied to construction, RDA is the perfect fit for Mezzanine as it expands its offering to the industry with this new division.
The deal with RDA will see Mezzanine's new construction business working with architects, builders like McLarens, Pochins & Volker Fitzpatrick; chartered surveyors such as Spring & Co; plus consultants and project managers for a diverse range of clients including M&S, Next, Recticel, Mono Pumps, Magna Automotive and Phillips 66.
Scott Chambers, Director of Mezzanine International, says that the move will greatly increase the firm's market penetration, whilst at the same time allowing RDA to offer greater benefits to customers from the depth of Mezzanine's experience in other areas and in particular from its production efficiencies and lower overall costs.
Mr Chambers explained: "Having watched RDA from afar for a number of years I'd always been impressed by both the way in which it went about its business and by the work it was producing across a number of different markets.
"You might say this alliance has been a long time in the making, as we began discussions on the subject last summer. It certainly feels like a good fit for Mezzanine and I'm really looking forward to expanding Mezzanine's new construction business."
Adele Lancaster, director, RDA Projects, believes the move will enable the new construction division to offer a very much wider range of mezzanine services, more rapidly and cost-effectively to RDA's traditional customer base.
She added: "RDA's niche as the construction client's mezzanine supplier of choice will be able to grow as a result of this acquisition. We have big plans to reach out to many more 'Design & Build' firms where our structural design and installation services are in high demand.
"With Mezzanine's market-beating steelwork rates now at our disposal, our customers can look forward to even better service and markedly lower prices."
