The organised day of visits saw Sandiacre-based affordable housing developer Lovell welcome more than 180 children to a development site at Rosecroft Drive where the company is building 23 homes for rent for housing association asra Housing Group.

The Lovell team took pupils on tours of the project where the company is building new two-, three- and four-bedroom houses, and talked to them about health and safety, highlighting the message that construction sites should never be seen as places to play.
Children were also given an insight into how homes are built and the different jobs involved. Lovell began work in autumn 2013 on the Rosecroft Drive scheme which is due to be finished this summer.
