Specialist contractor T.A Colbourne (TAC) has secured deals for two breweries based in Dorset.
The firm will carry out works at Brewery Square in Dorchester and "The Old Maltings" Hall and Woodhouse Brewery in Blandford.
Both projects will feature 'rainscreens' technology, a system designed with an outer layer which keeps rain out as well as in inner layer to provide thermal insulation preventing air leakage and to cope with the force of the wind.
The contractor will provide aluminium rainscreens and features for Phase2B of the Brewery Square shopping and leisure scheme in Dorchester. The phased project involves an extension regeneration of the old Eldridge Pope Brewery.
In addition, TAC will deliver an extension to the Visitors Centre 'The Old Maltings' Hall and Woodhouse Brewery in Blandford.
A terracotta rainscreen system will be developed and designed to blend in with the existing Victorian buildings.
Roy Cake, contracts director at Spetisbury Construction, said: "We had seen T.A. Colbourne's portfolio of work which showcased a real specialism in the blending in of various structures against their existing surroundings and we have successfully completed many varied projects with their team over the past few years.
"Our project to expand 'The Old Maltings' included a requirement to fit an ultra-modern terracotta rain screen system which would blend consistently with the existing Victorian buildings – a particular expertise that T.A. Colbourne are able to demonstrate."
Director of TAC, Tom Colbourne, said: "Both of these projects are being led by our project manager Don Thorpe but with input from the whole team for the drawings and estimating. Rainscreen technology has huge advantages, one of the main ones being that a dry building envelope is provided in minimum time."
The two projects are due to be completed in 2016.
