The overall project comprises of two towers at 30- and 26-storeys high, with 482 residential homes on land next to Celebration Avenue and Victory Park.
Joint developers for the project include Delancey and Qatari Diar, with Get Living London managing the properties upon completion.
Planning consent has already been granted for further phases in-line with the 2005 Stratford City 'Masterplan'.
Stafford Lancaster, spokesperson for Qatari Diar Delancey, said: "Mace has demonstrated its expertise through its work on both the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games and the LLDC's ongoing transformation of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. We are looking forward to seeing how the team will bring this expertise and local knowledge to these new homes at East Village, further building on the strong residential legacy we have already achieved."
Mark Buckle, Director for Mace, added: "Our commitment to the Games lives on, and we are keen to make sure its legacy thrives. The residential sector is at the hub of Mace's construction business and we are delighted to have been appointed to deliver one of the most prestigious residential developments in London."
