The company will transform the Grade II-listed Corn Exchange as part the second phase of a £30 million investment programme to turn the building into a leisure destination.
The development is being carried out on behalf of Queensberry Real Estate and is to begin in mid-August.
The scheme involves refurbishing levels two to five to create a 114-bedroom 'aparthotel'. ISG will carry out remedial works to the roof structure, fit-out work, the installation of a cantilevered scaffold system on the first floor. Structural alterations will be made to the building's flood slabs to introduce new service risers for the hotel's modern mechanical and electrical infrastructure.

A number of management suites will be created while the architecturally listed stair cores will be conserved/restored. Other facilities include a gym, lounge and a 'Grab and Go' breakfast area.
