Commenting on the new office launch, Sweco UK managing director, Max Joy, said: "We have experienced consistent, positive revenue growth since we launched and our consultancy work in the North East has made a significant contribution to that success.
"We chose to open in Stockton to give us a greater footprint in the region, in addition to our established Gateshead office, and as part of our strategic growth plans across the UK. It provides us with the platform to generate further sustainable growth and gives our clients enhanced access to our services and specialisms."
Stockton-based Sweco technical director Stuart Wilson, added: "It is fantastic to be part of such a fast-growing, forward-thinking business which recognises the huge opportunities for growth in the region and beyond.
